B.Z.A. MEETING March 28, 2023

This will be the Agenda for the B.Z.A. Meeting that will be held March 28, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers. (Also Zoom/GoToMeeting see attached)

B.Z.A. 0-27-22 Chrisley Lewis and Rachel McIntosh Petitioners: Petitioners are requesting a Variance at 1407 Martin Ct. They are wanting to vary from the rear 20 ft setback and 6.5 side setback to be at a zero setback to place a shed. They live on a corner and are restricted to where they can place it. The shed has already been placed and they need to make sure the Board approves it.

B.Z.A. 0-1 23 Jigar Patel Petitioner: Petitioner is requesting a Land Use Variance at 207 E 13th St to have 2 residential structures on 1 lot. There is an existing building that will be turned into an apartment. It was given an unfavorable recommendation from Plan Commission on 3-9-23.

B.Z.A. 0-3-23 Kevin Burke Petitioner: Petitioner is requesting a Land Use Variance at 714 W 5th St. He is wanting to turn his house into an Airbnb/rental. It is the birthplace of John Mellencamp, and he feels it would be an interesting place for people to rent. It was given a favorable recommendation from Plan Commission on 3-9-23.

B.Z.A. 0-4-23 Clayton Henderson Petitioner: Petitioner is requesting a Land Use Variance at 207 N 4th St Rd. He is wanting to run a small detailing business out of his garage. He was given a favorable recommendation from Plan Commission on 3-9-23.

B.Z.A. 0-5-23 Gordon & Kathy Simler Petitioners: Petitioners are requesting a Land Use Variance at 436 Persimmon Dr. They are requesting to have a Kennel License. They have quite a few animals and have been informed they need a Kennel License to keep them. They were given a favorable recommendation from Plan Commission on 3-9-23, with the stipulation they are not to get any more animals.

B.Z.A. 0-6-23 Ben Stewart Petitioner: Petitioner is requesting a Variance at 221 Manor Ct. He is needing to vary from the required 20 ft rear setback to be at 1 ft setback to build a pool house off the back of the house.

 

B.Z.A. Ken Anders Petitioner: Petitioner is requesting a Variance at 248 White Station Rd. He is wanting to vary from the required 20 ft rear setback to be at 10 ft and the required side setback of 9 ft to be at 2 ft to build a new garage.
